You Can Copy My DIY Halloween Costume
We’re two weeks out from Halloween and if you’re still looking to throw an easy, fun costume together for you or your kiddo, this might do the trick!
A DIY costume for under $25 that can easily be reused year after year AND that allows me to rock comfy clothes? Umm, yes please!
This Photo Booth Strip costume was inspired by this original creator and I just love how simple yet playful it is. Best of all, I can easily set it down while hosting our Halloween gathering and pick it up when there’s a photo opportunity. (The original creator built hers and had a way to wear the prop, but I went for cheap and easy.)
What you don’t see is I’m also rocking a “Sanderson Sisters Brewing Co.” sweatshirt so even when I’m not holding up the prop, I’m still on theme. If you want to recreate this look for yourself or a kiddo, I’ve got details below.
DIY PHOTO BOOTH STRIP COSTUME SUPPLIES
Remove the glass from each frame. Leave the backs on 3 of the frames, but remove it completely for the fourth. (This is where your head will go.) Glue together each frame to create your photo booth strip. The glue I used dried quickly and was easy to use.
Take a few goofy selfies while wearing your Halloween outfit of choice. Then print (I just did it on my home printer to keep things cheap) and insert into your frames. Easy peasy!
