Make Getting Ready Simple: A Week of One Piece Outfits
Sometimes getting dressed can feel like a chore. One way I like to simplify things is by opting for a one-piece option. Dresses, rompers, jumpsuits - they remove a lot of the thought process behind pulling an outfit together because it can be a one and done situation. And let’s be honest, sometimes my brain already has too many tabs open and the last thing I want to do is think about anything else.
Now I highly encourage adding a great bag, jewelry and sometimes an outer layer, but if desired, you can really throw it on a run. Earlier this month I did a “Week of Onesies” where I wore either a dress or jumpsuit each day of the week. It truly made getting ready quick and easy plus I still felt pulled together.
Look One
I threw on this look for a girls brunch and movie date. It was breezy (I live in Florida) and comfy which felt perfect for a movie, but still felt pulled together enough for brunch. Instead of using the tie that came with this secondhand jumpsuit, I opted for a belt bag.

Look Two
Day two was a perfect work from home style. These Imbodhi rompers are one of my favorite items of clothing. So comfortable, holds you in on top and flow on the bottom. I wore this for my walk around the neighborhood. Then I was able to easily elevate the look by throwing on my LEV Apparel sweatshirt blazer. This look is for those looking for top notch comfort.

Look Three
Day three was my voting day + lunch date look. I love a feminine dress with converse. It just immediately tones down what can feel too frilly for my aesthetic and makes the look feel accessible, casual, and dare I say, cool. This cutie Target dress was a great option for Florida fall. The olive color is suitable for autumn while the cut keeps me cool.

Look Four
Oh yes, it’s another Imbodhi look. This time with sleeves and you better believe I have this look in mind for Thanksgiving day. I mean who doesn't want to feel like they are wearing pajamas on the biggest food consumption day of the year?! I might pop on combat boots rather than the converse next time, but again, I’m clearly a big fan of that casual style these days.

Look Five
For Friendsgiving I wore my favorite ABLE wrap dress. Again, this piece is a perfect Fall feel while still working for the warm weather. I amped up the fall vibes with combat boots and a black hat. Earlier in the day I dropped the hat and paired the dress with white converse for running errands with the kiddos.
This look is a great reminder that accessories can totally change the feel of a dress. If I threw on heels and added a great clutch, this dress could easily take me to a wedding. When making new clothing purchases, that is the type of flexibility you should be looking for in order to get the most out of your wardrobe.
