OMG, Thank Goodness You Know!

We’ve been holding in this news for soooooo long and we’re so thankful to finally be able to share it with everyone! As you can imagine, when planning to move states with your family of five + two pups, figuring out how to rent out a home for the first time, house hunting from out of state, and expanding your small businesses, there’s a lot of moving parts. It’s a tad overwhelming, but it also feels so, so right.

You see, this isn’t a quick decision. We’ve been dreaming and planning for a move to the water for many years and we’re thrilled to be finally stepping into that dream. And more than that, we’re amazed and oh so proud that leading into this transition, both of our small business are thriving! Instead of fearing that the move will stunt our business growth, we know this move will give us the opportunity to grow our businesses and expand the communities that we serve. Now, if you don’t already know my hubby and best friend, Brent, it’s time for you to meet this talented photographer…

Brent has been practicing family photography professionally for 10 years and was completely self-taught. He focuses on family sessions and more recently (and most popularly), kid close up studio shots that we call, Fun Sized Sessions!

Every session with Brent is high-energy and fun and will 100% win over any cranky child. Seriously, this man will go to any embarrassing lengths to get your shy kiddo (or unwilling husband) to give genuine expressions for photos, so please be prepared to endure some fart sounds or dumb jokes during your shoot.

Brent will continue to serve the Nashville area through quarterly pop-ups and of course will be offering his services throughout the St Pete and Tampa Bay areas once we make the move. As for what you can expect with Lovely Lark Living, I’m most excited to say I’ll be adding a team member! (Woah, that still sounds crazy!!)

But in order to keep my clientele growing in Nashville, I want to bring on a Design Assistant that will be available for Home Consultations in the Nashville area. That means, for those clients who want an in person touch, I can still have their spaces measured and photographed prior to starting their design project. My hope is that as Lovely Lark Living continues to grow this Design Assistant role will evolve into a more permanent opportunity with more and more design responsibilities.

I’ll also be back in Nashville regularly to connect in person as well. And of course, as always, Lovely Lark Living has a variety of fully virtual options to serve you from anywhere.
